This is why I believe the world's end is near.
You've probably noticed — almost everything that isn't canned either expires this year, next year, or has already gone bad. That's not a coincidence. That's the whole point. In just a few short years, all food will expire. Everything we eat will be expired. And that's where the theory begins.
It starts small. Food begins to spoil. At first, it's just a little unhealthy. People get sick. Almost no one dies — yet. But some refuse to eat entirely. They starve. This sparks something dark. People try things. Governments act. Nothing works. Efforts fail. The sickness spreads. Humanity is deteriorating. And growing... unhealthily.
The situation worsens. Fruits like apples and bananas vanish from stores. Trees stop producing. Desperation sets in.
The U.S. buys up decaying fruit, urged on by Donald Trump — or whoever he's convinced to act on his behalf. When Mexico refuses to fund the deal (because that wall never got built), Trump tries to offload the cost onto Spain or Canada. His justification?
"We are doing this for a very important reason. We are not doing this for people to eat them. We are not doing this just because we can because the world is coming to an end. We are not doing it to make America great again. We are doing this..."
— he trails off into a low mumble —
"Simply. Because. China." — Trump
Efforts to restore the food supply fail. Everything people try — fails. Eating becomes a risk. The danger is rising.
Coconuts. (Yes, coconuts.)
Now, eating almost anything can kill you. People are dying from food poisoning or choosing starvation. Then comes the legal shift: cannibalism becomes permitted — but only under one condition. The person must already be dead.
Some celebrate, others are broken. "I just want a regular burger and some fries," they cry. But it's too late. Soon, many won't even care if the person they're eating was dead — they kill on sight.
Total collapse.
People are dying from hunger, food poisoning, and now from each other. Cannibalism is now the only practical solution. The population declines alongside the food supply. Those still clinging to hope are hunted by those who... eat.
The world population drops to 3.5 billion. Hope is gone. Nothing can reverse this. Some dream of time machines to bring back food from the past. Others are launch to Mars in search of food... they don't return.
Earth is silent. The survivors are alone.
The population had peaked at nearly 9 billion. Now it sits at just 2.5 million.
All seems lost. The last fragments of humanity are ready to give up.
But then...
Something revolutionary. A realization: we could've made more food. The supply wasn't finite. Animals reproduce. Trees regrow. Food can come back. So they try, and it works.
For a week.
Then: an alien ship lands on the moon. It implants an alien antimatter nuke and destabilizes the moon's orbit. The moon hurtles toward Earth. Twelve hours later, it strikes Southern Africa, which was soon followed by a devastating antimatter detonation, annihilating the planet.
I believe that all of this will occur by the end of 2026. Say your goodbyes now before it's too late.
